"This is my second time attending this retreat and it all is so well planned out, from the gift bags, to the vendors and delicious food! Really, there was such a nice variety, and the Knights seem so happy to serve. The door prize/raffle opportunities are fun too! Thanks for such a great event. It was a very uplifting and spiritual experience"
"It was a very uplifting and spiritual experience"
"Both the breakfast and lunch were wonderful. You provided many option especially for those with restricted diets. Presentation was well done too"
"One thing that touched me was recognizing that there are so many ways I can pray, if I just ask God, he is going to help me find a great time of the day to spend with him, even during my busy schedule. It was also really nice to know there are many ways God tries to talk to us. I am not someone who ever could hear a voice, but through pictures and emotions, I feel that I can focus more on God and his words or messages being sent to me."
"The entire day was beautiful. The speakers were relatable, the painted rocks were so beautiful, the lunch was delicious, the vendors were great. A lot of effort was put into making it a special day and it did not go unnoticed. And thank you to the men that worked so hard serving all of us."
"Filling this out more than a week later, just wanted to say that the week following the retreat, I had a lot on the calendar... more social interactions and meetings than in a typical week and I found that this really helped prepare me for what was ahead, going into the week with a new confidence and peace, and seeking guidance from the Lord every day. I liked Sheri's idea of setting the alarm earlier to spend time in silent prayer. I've been doing that... some days I've been able to longer than others (my kids are growing older and less needy early morning, but sometimes the dogs are early risers and need to interrupt to go out:), but something I want to especially do this Lenten season."
"I felt at peace with myself."
"I took 2 rocks - "surrender" and "gratitude" - these words were tattooed on my inner arms (1 on each) after my husband died. The Lord reminded me he is still very much with me, guiding, providing and protecting me."
